　　中新社北京9月23日電 在中國新聞社建社70周年之際，中共中央總書記、國家主席、中央軍委主席習近平發來賀信，向中新社全體同志致以誠摯的祝賀。

　　習近平在賀信中指出，70年來，中新社堅持愛國主義的報道方針，堅持為僑服務，為講好中國故事、傳播好中國聲音發揮了積極作用。

　　習近平希望中新社以建社70周年為新的起點，創新國際傳播話語體系，加快融合發展，提高國際傳播能力，增強報道親和力和實效性，積極聯系海外華文媒體，為展現可信、可愛、可敬的中國形象，促進海內外中華兒女大團結，推動中外文明交流、民心相通作出新的更大貢獻。(賀信全文另發)

　　23日上午，慶祝中國新聞社建社70周年大會在京舉行，會上宣讀了習近平的賀信。中共中央書記處書記、中央統戰部部長尤權出席大會并講話。他說，要深入學習貫徹習近平總書記重要指示精神，始終堅持愛國主義的報道方針，突出中新特色，面向港澳臺同胞、海外僑胞和國際社會講好中國故事，推動中外文明交流和民心相通，不斷壯大海外知華友華“朋友圈”，為實現中華民族偉大復興凝聚人心和力量。

　　會上，中新社負責人和老同志、青年職工代表發言。

　　中新社由中國新聞界和僑界知名人士發起，于1952年10月1日正式成立。目前，該社有52個境內外分社，建立了24小時不間斷的信息發布系統，形成了覆蓋海外大多數華文媒介的用戶網絡。
